Sabre's MD Talan Miller (pictured above with Meredith Belbin) has just attended the Belbin Symposium hosted at the historic Jesus College Cambridge University.

Over 25 countries were represented with some of the world's most experienced Belbin leaders and consultants sharing experiences, techniques and insights. Belbin is helping leaders, teams and organisations world-wide.

Innovative approaches for the model were discussed along with many exciting new features such as the latest multi-language platforms.

The future is bright indeed for the Belbin Model as many new developments are on the horizon and new clients are turning to Belbin across the world as a valuable tool for developing leaders, teams and organisational culture.

Amongst the eminent speakers was the man himself Meredith Belbin, creator of the model and the father of modern Team Role Theory. His presentation also dealt with his current research and insight into managing genetic diversity within human civilisation.

This fascinating work has great implications for understanding how to use Team Role Theory not just for individuals and teams, but also to help develop healthy cultures for entire organisations.

Historic Jesus College Cambridge (founded in the Middle Ages) provided an amazing backdrop for this meeting with its spectacular architecture and beautifully manicured gardens.

It was apt to have such a classic English setting for this global event to show just how this great model, whilst created in England, is now truly also a citizen of the world.
