Authentic "team building" requires a bit of pain, but the pain is less severe when the process is well-managed. We’ve all seen those cheesy stock images of “a team”, you know the nice looking folks playing the archetypal and harmonious corporate team (like the one used here). When you really stop and think about it though, these stock images look too “cookie cutter” and superficial. About as fake and superficial in fact as some team building programmes seem to be these days.
