This summer we certainly seem to have sepnt plenty of time on some nice beaches including those of the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Sydney and even Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef. It can be a tough job at times, but someone has to do it.
The Sunshine Coast, and in particular the popular Hastings Street precinct of Noosa, can be a great location for some conference team building activities.
Sabre has been running events for clients here since the late 80's and we have certainly seen some changes over the years in and around Noosa.
We recently ran a great "Quest" activity for an international group from Nuvasive.
The Quest was heavily tailored to suit the local area and required teams to get out and about from the Sheraton Noosa into the National Park, beach and Hastings Street areas to complete a wide variety of point winning tasks. Much more sophisticated than an Amazing Race format, The Quest is a great way to see the destination, have some fun but also undertake a meaningful team challenge. Luckily the weather also behaved itself and we only started to see some tropical summer rains just as we were returning to the Sheraton for the final points tally and wrap up of the event.
After a hotly contested event it was the mighty Red team that prevailed.
