Charity Team Building at Christmas Time

At this time each year it’s refreshing to see some clients putting an emphasis on leaving a lasting charitable legacy from their conferences, team building events and end of year functions.

One of the nicest ways we see this happen is via our “Team Toy Story” events where a client engages us to help source one or more worthy children’s charities who will become the beneficiaries of a range of great kid’s toys.

Each initially team competes in a variety of tailored team challenge tasks around the venue and surrounding areas that eventually resolve into a vibrant buying session and series of auctions from our special pop up toy stores set up around the meeting room.

Teams then box up their goods ready for shipping to some truly worthy charitable organisations.

In recent years we have found this format to far more versatile and useful to the recipient organisations than those formats that build only bikes, as often the charities require more flexible and versatile offerings to suit refuges, short term accommodation centres and even hospitals.

We have recently enjoyed seeing the fruits of these vents go to some great organisations such as The Smith Family, Canteen, Salvation Army and Bravehearts.
