It’s that time of year when event planners are keen to get their teams “out and about,” enjoying novel locations such as parks and beaches. And who wouldn’t?
Unique settings can certainly help make team experiences more memorable, while also drawing people away from those dreaded screens and encouraging genuine, face-to-face connection.
Our key recommendation, particularly with heatwaves on the way and increasingly unpredictable storms, is to ensure a proper, well-considered Plan B is in place. It’s also crucial to factor in WHS considerations, especially around event duration, when placing people in hot conditions for any length of time.
It’s great to get outdoors, it just needs to be done in a professional and carefully planned way for participant comfort and safety.
