In-person team building makes a strong comeback on the Gold Coast.
In-person team events surging all over the country, and especially in SE QLD. This weekend it was a real pleasure to get outdoors on a beautiful sunny Autumn day on the Gold Coast.
A 100-person client group was able to go with their preferred outdoor Plan A, our Kon Tiki boat building challenge, as we had a welcome break in what has seemed almost constant rain in SE QLD.
The Kon Tiki challenge is one of our most popular team building concepts as it beautifully illustrates teamwork and collaboration with a very real and tangible outcome, your boat either floats or it doesn’t.
Far from being a simplistic raft build, Kon Tiki uses sophisticated plans and blueprints from which teams working effectively together can craft very sturdy and seaworthy vessels.
Teams have been relishing the opportunity to finally work together face-to-face and break their pandemic Zoom fatigue. Nothing can really take the place of the chemistry and working relationships that build at a live event.
We are loving the fact that many clients are seeking to re-engage their teams again with live events be they indoor or outdoor.
