Team building gets all 'beefed up' at Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds.

Sabre recently had the pleasure of working with the great people of CPC (Consolidated Pastoral Company) to deliver a tailored version of our Agency Ad making event that also incorporated a novel cooking component.

Teams were given a comprehensive briefing, then issued their gear for The Agency Challenge and introduced to celebrity Chef Sam Burke who detailed his expectations for the cooking components of the event.

Each team needed to make a clever advertisement that promoted Aussie beef to the Asian market. The preparation and cooking of some top Australian beef (the best in the world) also had to be incorporated into the event. Teams had limited time, budgets and a selection of secret ingredients to work with along with with some hand-picked top grade MSA beef.

Chef Sam judged the plated up meals and it was safe to say that they were truly world-class. The smells circulating around the famous RNA Cattleman’s Bar venue were truly amazing as teams created amazing dishes using beef and host of local and Asian recipes. Team building has never smelled so good.

To top things off, teams produced some clever and quite hilarious adverts that really got the key messages across. The Agency is such a versatile team building format, and worked brilliantly dovetailed into a Lifestyle Cooking Show approach.

CPC are an amazing team of people. Their company history goes all the way back to 1860 and they are now a vibrant Australian based Agrifood business with an enterprise value in excess of $700 million. They operate a successful portfolio of 20 cattle stations with a massive carrying capacity of 375,000 head of cattle across 5.7m hectares (greater than size of Switzerland) of land in Australia.

It’s not every day that we get to work with not only great teams from a top business, but also one of the top beef chefs in the world (who we did of course ask for expert advice on how to cook the prefect steak at our next Sabre BBQ).
